Privacy policy

This policy explains what Bukhari Consulting does with the information you send through the enquiry form on this website. It is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who is responsible

Bukhari Consulting is the data controller for the information you submit. Contact: usman@bukhariconsulting.co.uk.

What we collect

The enquiry form collects only what is needed to reply properly:

  • Your full name and company (required)
  • Your email address (required)
  • Your telephone number and job title (optional)
  • Which training interests you, approximate team size, preferred delivery and timescale
  • The message you write, including anything you choose to tell us about your team
  • Your consent to be contacted, and the date and time of submission

Please do not include confidential, commercially sensitive or special category personal data in your message. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on this website.

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, to discuss training that may suit your team, and to keep a record of the enquiry and any resulting engagement. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you have initiated. Where a contract follows, we process the information as necessary to perform that contract.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking you separately.

Who processes it

Enquiries are stored in a hosted database and sent to us by email using a third-party email delivery service. Those providers act as our processors under contract and may store data inside or outside the UK; where data leaves the UK it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months of the last contact. Where an enquiry leads to a contract, we keep the related records for six years after the end of the engagement to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.

Your rights and how to request deletion

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time.

Email usman@bukhariconsulting.co.uk with the subject line "Data request". We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
